I like writing dark, gritty fiction about diverse characters, especially members of the LGBTQ+ community.

At the same time, I strive to create characters that are not defined by their sexuality, gender identity, skin color, etc. I want to tell exciting stories about complex people and the unique challenges they face.

Jinx Ballou Bounty Hunter series

Chaser cover artLife as a bounty hunter is challenging, especially when you’re a transgender woman working in such a macho-driven business.

But Jinx Ballou is resourceful, tough, and willing to do whatever it takes to bring bail jumpers to justice.

Noir author Greg Barth has described this series as “best thing to happen to crime fiction since V. I. Warshawski.”
